From 7 – 9 November the AMI Waterproof Membranes Conference took place in Cologne. This year the event focused on market trends, circular economy, innovations, the performance of materials and durability. On behalf of EUMEPS, Jürgen Lang spoke at the conference presenting EPS as the sustainable solution for the construction sector. Apart from explaining the technical advantages which EPS offers to its users, the presentation underlined the enormous potential EPS has in reducing Europe’s energy consumption and dependency on imports, for affordable prices. Furthermore, Jürgen’s contribution highlighted the various available recycling opportunities and the low CO2 emissions in the production process compared to competing materials.
