EUMEPS, the Association of European Manufacturers of Expanded Polystyrene, is pleased to announce that it has joined the contributor network of the International Master of Science in Fire Safety Engineering (IMFSE).
The IMFSE is a two-year, full-time international Master’s programme in fire safety engineering. Delivered by four partner universities — Ghent University, Lund University, the University of Edinburgh and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya — it prepares future specialists in fire science, risk analysis and fire protection engineering. The programme combines international mobility, academic teaching and collaboration with industry.
By joining this network, EUMEPS supports high-quality education and helps develop the expertise needed to address fire safety, building performance and sustainability challenges. Contributions to the programme help fund full and partial scholarships for IMFSE students.
EUMEPS represents companies across the expanded polystyrene (EPS) value chain through 23 national associations and numerous recycling initiatives. The association is committed to supporting European environmental objectives, advancing circularity and demonstrating the value of EPS in packaging and insulation.
