On 18 September 2025, EUMEPS launched a new communication campaign: EUMEPS Talks. Through a series of short interviews with the EUMEPS Secretariat, the campaign sheds light on what it means to be part of the association and how membership translates into concrete value.
This is a multi-channel campaign, running across several social media channels. It is designed for our existing members, who will recognise their own experience in the messages, and for potential members across the EPS value chain in Europe, who can discover how EUMEPS represents and supports the sector.
What makes EUMEPS Talks distinctive is its human and genuine format. Instead of polished statements, it presents real conversations, offering an authentic look at how the association works and why it matters.
Supporting Members with Expertise
Expertise is at the heart of EUMEPS’ mission. European legislation and standardisation can be complex and fast-moving. Few companies have the time or resources to follow every detail on their own. Membership means that this work is shared and coordinated, giving members access to information and support they could not achieve individually.
In the first episode, Jakub Stefaniak, Technical Affairs Manager, explains how EUMEPS helps members shape European standards from the very beginning of the process. With direct connections to the European Commission and a strong presence at CEN, the association ensures that members’ knowledge and concerns are included where it matters most. At the same time, EUMEPS helps members navigate the many pieces of legislation that affect them, providing clarity and data to back the performance of EPS as a material.
Visibility and Communication
Communication is about credibility and trust. Through campaigns such as Women of EUMEPS or Priority? Insulation!, EUMEPS has given the industry a clear and recognisable voice, showing that it is both innovative and aligned with European priorities like sustainability and inclusion.
In the second episode, Ingrid Morin, Communications Manager, reflects on how communication helps to bring the industry together and to present a consistent image in Brussels. By translating complex issues into accessible messages, EUMEPS makes sure that policymakers, regulators and the public understand the contribution of EPS to the circular economy and to Europe’s energy transition.
Collaboration and Collective Voice
Another theme of EUMEPS Talks is the value of working together. No company can influence regulation or public debate alone. Within EUMEPS, members share expertise, exchange experiences and shape joint positions that carry real weight in Brussels.
As Jürgen Lang, Director General of EUMEPS, points out in his interview, this collective voice is what makes the association credible. Speaking as one industry makes dialogue with policymakers more effective, and collaboration within EUMEPS also creates opportunities to learn from one another and to build stronger networks.
A Human and Genuine Perspective
What sets EUMEPS Talks apart is its tone. Each episode is a conversation, not a press release. By letting members of the Secretariat speak in their own words, the campaign shows the people behind the association and the values that guide their work.
This approach makes the benefits of membership more tangible. It shows that EUMEPS is not just an institution in Brussels but a group of professionals who listen, support and work alongside their members every day.
Conclusion
EUMEPS Talks is an invitation to see the association from the inside: how it supports its members, how it represents the industry, and why being part of EUMEPS strengthens the voice of the EPS value chain in Europe.
The campaign combines expertise, visibility, collaboration and authenticity. For members, it is a reminder of the value of their involvement. For potential members, it is a chance to see why joining EUMEPS makes a difference.
