“There is no such thing as impossible.”

Martina is Assistant to the CEO of HIRSCH Servo Group Harald Koglera nd she accept to be interviewed to share her experiences in the EPS world.

Work and responsibilities

“I am the point of contact for all agendas of our CEO. I collect the data for presentations, do the coordination of dates with associations, Inquiries from customers which are then processed in the respective division. Due to the size of the company, I try to think across national borders and then produce where it is most cost-effective for us but also for the customer”

Biggest challenges and achievements in her career

“The job may not be the easiest, but it all depends on your character. As in any other profession, you need to have a certain basic aptitude. If you have no fears, everything is surmountable. It makes me proud that I am structured, well organized, ambitious and a high-performing employee. I don't give up but always know where help can be found or where you can get support. According to my motto: there is no such thing as impossible”

A word of advice

“Never let yourself get down above all, you can't go wrong. If someone believes that they are suited to something, then they should go down that path. You shouldn't be bothered by people who say that industry and maintenance is not necessarily a place for women. And you shouldn't be afraid. Almost all companies offer measures to ensure the compatibility of family and career. Corporate culture also plays a decisive role in retaining women in the industry in the long term and giving them equal opportunities. I think with women it's also “intangible” obstacles that don't get as much approval from many men. Set goals for inclusion and diversity and try to achieve them. Be courageous and if you fall down, get up, set up your crown and keep going on...”
