Our work this year has centred on addressing industry challenges while seizing new opportunities. The launch of the EUMEPS Manifesto, our strategic vision, stands out, positioning EPS as an irreplaceable solution for achieving the European Green Deal’s sustainability goals. Likewise, we have strengthened our digital presence with initiatives like Smart Packaging Europe, Smart Insulation Europe, and Become a Member, creating targeted platforms to showcase the environmental, economic, and technical benefits of EPS.
Beyond communication, our advocacy efforts have tackled significant legislative developments, including the PPWR, the EPBD, and the ongoing negotiations for the Global Plastic Treaty. Through technical expertise and collaboration, EUMEPS has worked tirelessly to ensure that EPS remains recognised for its circularity, recyclability, and role in building a sustainable future.
The success of our 30th Anniversary Event brought together key stakeholders, policymakers, and industry leaders in a moment of unity, reflection, and inspiration. Together, we celebrated three decades of progress while setting the stage for the future—onemarked by innovation, cooperation, and unwavering commitment to our shared goals.
